Pillow Package Design
This project focuses on refreshing a series of recently re-designed pillow packages and creating packing unison among the product line. These packages were shown at the bi-yearly Furniture Convention Las Vegas Market.

Pillow Introductions
Their were four pillows that needed new packaging updates. The Arctus, ArctusGel, the Adjustable Pillow Series, and the PowerCool pillow. The main goal of these designs were to unify the package design across these four pillow lines to create a family feel. I focused on making sure the designs spoke to the MLILY brand language while also being informative and easy to understand.
Each pillow had specific features and benefits to call out. Below are all the pillows and their stories.

Specialty pillow to compliment the PowerCool mattress. Ergonomic solid memory foam pillow contours to the sleepers micro pressure points to assist in a deeper sleep.

Out with the old in with the new
The Arctus and ArctusGel have gone though some alterations. Below are examples of the old design that got a full make over.
Round 1 Design Changes
In the first round of changes the goals were
Limit the amount of photography needed to be printed on the box
Remove the dated mascot figure on the box
Modernize the packaging to reflect the new MLILY brand standards
Redesign the pillow feature information to be displayed in a readable manner
Round 2 Design Changes
After gaining feedback we altered the goals of the new package
The package was to have vector art on the front face
1 photograph must be present on the back of the box showing the pillows internals
The box must stay in the MLILY PMS 294 blue color
Round 3 The Final Design
After the final round of feedback the team had confirmed:
The front cover needs an image to assist the customer in understanding the product. The vector art was not recognizable enough.
The final color pallet for each pillow was decided. MLILY PMS 294 blue paired with each pillow’s color.
The PowerCool pillow was decided to remain unique within the MLILY brand. The colors were to stay black and gray to stand out as a luxury brand within the home brand.
The Final Completed Packages
The completed pillow packages were displayed at the bi-yearly Furniture Convention Las Vegas Market January 2021.
